Why 'swing'? The existence of swing owes a debt of gratitude to a wide number of musical and perhaps cultural forms and reflects a time which was full of optimism and 'joie de vivre', with some hedonism thrown in for good measure.

Does this translate well to the North East of Scotland in the 21st Century? Well, we think it does - especially with the oil price as high as it is at the moment! At the core of this is a love of the melodies and the interpretations of these by the greats such as Sinatra, Fitzgerald and Tormé. However more recent exciting contributions from artists such as Cullum, Krall and Bublé has injected the genre with a lease of life and opened it up to a new generation. These new interpretations are evident in the way the 'three guys' present their music.

The songs don't tend to cope with lofty social issues but focus on l-o-v-e. 'Three guys' offer you the option of just listening and tapping your foot, singing along or getting up and dancing - each performance consists of our contribution, and yours. The interpretation is all live, for live occasions, nothing is pre-recorded and all the sound comes from 'three guys swinging'.
